My appreciation for the Latin language blossomed in my early twenties when I developed a love for literature. I realized that by learning Latin, I could connect directly to the rich literary tradition of Ancient Rome,

My appreciation for the Latin language blossomed in my early twenties when I developed a love for literature. I realized that by learning Latin, I could connect directly to the rich literary tradition of Ancient Rome, drawing from the source of many key root words that influence our language today. This pursuit aligns beautifully with the principles of classical education, emphasizing the importance of understanding Latin literature and the concept of Living Latin in fostering a deeper appreciation for our linguistic heritage.

To affectively teach Latin, I use what I call the "hybrid method". This joins two methods" the nature method" and "the traditional method". This way you get practice with natural Latin immersion and also get practice with translations and common idioms.
